AR Rahman with his bag of two Oscar Awards

The great Indian composer and whole Indian dream AR Rahman has won two Oscars for his in Danny’s film Slumdog Millonaire.

Rahman was born A.S Dileep Kumar in 6th January 1966 at Madras (The name has been changed as Chennai). He has started learning the piano at the age of 4. when he was 9 his father passed away. After long time , he has joined with the Chennai maestro Illayaraj’s troupe as a keyboard player at his age of 11.

He has joined the great tabla maestro Zakir Hussain at the year of 1987 (not exactly).After a year he was moved to advertising where he composed more than 300 jingles over 5 years.

AR Rahman took two Oscar awards for his song Jai Ho and his film Slumdog Millonaire

Its very good to hear , he has won Oscar awards among five Indians to win an Oscar. The other two Indians are Gulzar and Resul Pookutty (For original songs and sound mixing).
